Thank you also for making The Defector an instant #1 bestseller on The New York Times bestseller list, The Wall Street Journal List and Publishers Weekly! It would not have been possible without your support!
We are also posting links here to recent interviews on CNN.com and Minnesota Public Radio. We hope they will be of interest to those who have asked about how I started writing, what my work day is like, and more background on the books.
Thank you again for reading.

Just finished reading The Secret Servant which leaves me with no more Silva to read until July. Yes I was a bit out of order in my reading but I have now read all 12 beginning with Moscow Rules, whom my wife turned me onto in 2008. As I work with Russians and Israelis in the software arena, completelty seperate relationships, she knew I had an interest in both cultures.
Great! I'm your # 1 fan here in the Philippines. Even named my firstborn Gabriel. :)
I read all his books and enjoyed every minute. I hope I will see one of his books on the big screen as it would be an fantastic movie.

I picked up Mark of the Assassin just under a month ago and finished it in one day. In the time since reading that excellent novel I have managed to pound through ALL of the Gabrial Allon stories. Fantastic. The Defector was finished in less that a 24 hour period. Now I'm left waiting and wanting more. Kudos to you, keep them coming!
I've read all the books of Daniel Silva and I loved it all. I've already pre-ordered the new book, Rembrandt Affair and I am anxious to read it. In Portugal Daniel Silva's books are always in first place in the Top bestseller. I loved that Daniel Silva could come to Lisbon, Portugal, talk to the readers, a country often chosen for the action in his books and a country so close to Daniel.
With my best wishes,

I started with The Confessor and could not put it down, I scoured all the bookshops in Melbourne Australia and have now purchased and read every novel including The Unlikely Spy and The Marching Season. Can not wait for the next book. Best author of thriller books that I have read, keep it up. Geoff
One of the things that I love about Mr. Silva's writing is that I am educated while I am entertained. I have read every one of his books, and for each one, I have learned a great deal about the places and cultures that he uses as backdrops to his stories. Great work, Mr. Silva. I look forward to your next book.
